#55 - Shape File Import Customization

Farm Works X2 has the ability to select certain attributes to import from a Shape File. There are many times when it is worthless to import every attribute from a Shape File. A common example is when importing a soil type map. This feature will also allow you to select a unit of measure for any attribute. The purpose of this is to tie the shape file back to a crop record in the future. The example below demonstrates someone importing (Shape File) a variable rate “as applied” map from Site Mate and changing the unit of measure to population.
