Not sure how much help I am going to be here. Since we do not have this unit for testing, all we can do is some standard setting checks.
1. Since unit is running a Windows Mobile OS, start by going to the Settings-System-External GPS or just GPS not certain what you will see.
2. You will see three Tabs. Programs and Hardware Tabs should be set to NONE. The Access tab, if the check mark for Manage GPS is checked, try removing this option. Hit OK.
3. From Settings, go to the Connections Tab. WIFI and Bluetooth should be turn off when trying to use Site Mate.
4. If you have a Beam icon in Connections, go into and remove check mark from Rec. all incoming Beams.Hit OK.
Out side of this I could not find any Specifications that would cause this unit to run so slow.
There have been other posts about some of the cell phones PDA's that have the same problem, but could not find this one on the list.
Sorry if this was not much help. Hopefully you will get other posts with differenet suggestions to try.
