starting over

It has been years since I have really used Farmworks. I really tried to make Apex work for me but just didnt like it. Now I want to start importing my harvest/planting/spraying data into my Farmworks. I am having a hard time getting a file to show up on the "Read Job Data" popup to begin downloads. Can someone talk me through doing this so I can get rolling with Farmworks again? I have the latest version just purchased at the Commodity Classic.

The "Getting Started" disk only needs to be used to to install the Micro Soft Active Sync. If you have Windows Vista or 7, you do not even need to use this CD. Windows Vista - 7 will need the Windows Mobile Device Center installed instead of Active Sync. Here is a link from our FW website where this program can be downloaded.

WMD Center

If you need the MS Active Sync for Windows XP or lower here is that link:

MS Active Sync

Hope this helps!

If you have the Original Greenstar, you will need to select the folder just above the PFdata. If you have a gs2 system, you will browse to the RCD folder and select the setup.fds file. If you have the GS3 you will select the drive for the USB drive.

Also please go to the help menu and check for updates to be sure that the drivers for the program are up to date.

I hope this helps.
