Installation on Windows 2008 Foundations Server

Hello, We've upgraded our office network & included a network file & app server running Windows 2008 Foundation Server 64bit. We've installed our version of Farmworks, v2011.04.477 & download and installed the upgrade of v2011.09.490, but the application is not opening. We've set the compability options to Windows XP sp3 & "Run as Administrator" to no avail. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Please try this and let me know how you come out.

1. Go to the Control Panel then select BDE Administrator.
2. Select Configuration -> Drivers -> Native -> then Paradox.
3. On the right side, you will see a few lines of which the first one is NET DIR. The Data to the right of it will no doubt show C:\
On the 'far' right side of that line will be a button that will allow you to edit that line. You may have to hover your mouse over it to see it. Click on the button which will bring up an Explorer type of window. Select the folder where Farm Works is installed. This will then replace the C:\ to C:\farmproj. Mine is on my local drive so you will need to browse and select the folder where FW is installed.
4. Once the above is complete, close out of the BDE Administrator. Now try to enter FW again.

Let me know if this does not resolve it.

Deb Hurraw
