HOW DO I SET-UP STORAGE LOCATIONS IN FARM WORKS

You can set up each of the storage locations for crops in Farm Works. This can be done by drawing circles or squares for each of the bins, elevators or co-ops. You can choose to locate these on your homestead, at a central location, or at the actual storage location. Once the circles/squares have been drawn, named and defined as structures, you will have the ability to use them as a storage locations.
It is not necessary at all to have the bins drawn to scale (unless it will be important to print a map that shows them). It also does not matter where you draw the bins. To draw the bins, pick the circle tool and draw a circle for each of the bins. The bins or storage locations will need to be defined by selecting the defined object button. Each location will need to have a description (using names such as "Farmer's Elevator") and the circle for structure must be checked.

If you would like for all of your storage locations to show up together on the harvested crop inventory, including the same start or prefixing to the locations. They will then be grouped together (since they're sorted alphabetically). If you use names like "Off Farm-Farmers Co-op" or "OF-Farmers Co-op", they will at least be listed together.

Typically, you don't need to see the bins on the map. By drawing the bins small (could even be a 1 foot diameter), they'll be hidden on your map but will still show up as storage locations for harvested crops.

If you are using Farm Funds, you can then add a cost for the storage locations that you own in the "Structure Setup" section of the initial set-up. By entering the values of the structures, they will show up on your balance sheet as an asset. For storage locations that you do not own, you will just ignore the structure in the "Initial Setup of Structures" so they do not show up in assets on your balance sheet.
