News Connectivity Office Field Store Support About Us

Farm Works Google Earth provides vehicle tracking to anyone using the Internet.  Users access a password protected site in order to view locations of all applicators.  These positions are viewed on Google Earth along with its popular imagery and unique land demographics.

Farm Works Google Earth makes it possible to track the location of any applicator with access to the Internet and web browser.  Simply go online to a password protected location and view real time vehicle movement.  Owners or other applicators can use this technology to improve vehicle movement away from the office.  Important customers can utilize this technology to answer their questions without the need of calling you.

  • When the Google Earth integration is used, Mobile Devices will create .kml files that can be hosted by the Site Pro Dispatch user.
  • As an operator moves, the .kml file will be updated to reflect the current position.
  • Google Earth can be used to display these .kml files on top of imagery, road and other maps.  Google Earth is configured to continuously check this file and as new positions are written to the file, the Google Earth map will be updated to show these positions.
  • These maps can include any number of operators each color coded with a label that was assigned to it (in the Farm Works "Mate" programs).
  • Access to these files can be controlled by usernames and passwords.
