Guide Mate is an affordable guidance solution that utilizes mobile devices such as Pocket PCs, Windows™ CE handhelds, or laptops running Windows™ 98 or higher. If you own a 5Hz or better GPS receiver, Guide Mate is your answer to reducing overlap, time, and inputs to a field. The "3D Highway" display reduces driver fatigue and allows you to concentrate on other important jobs in the cab. Guide Mate integrates with Site Mate and Trac Mate for viewing coverage maps and field records. No other guidance software on the market offers this type of flexibility and integration. |
Guide Mate - Basic Features:
Provides an easy-to-follow, on screen lightbar and steering needle. - Guidance patterns include Straight A-B, Last Pass, Contour Fixed, Contour 0 Button, Contour 1 Button, Contour 2 Button, C Clamp, Headlands Separate, Headlands Combined, Headlands*2 Separate, Headlands*2 Combined, Spiral, Headlands Contour, and Headlands*2 Contour.
- Saves guidance patterns for future navigation on the same field.
- Fully integrated with Site Mate (required) so users can quickly move between the lightbar display and a coverage map generated with Site Mate.
- Coverage map exported in industry standard ArcView Shape File.
- Can be used in conjunction with approved external lightbars for additional guidance assistance.
- Only software guidance package on the market to offer farmers an alternative to proprietary hardware solutions.
Guide Mate - Auto Steer Features:
- Requires Guide Mate-Basic and Site Mate.
- Integrates with Raven SmarTrax or Raven QuickTrax systems to provide an auto steering solution.
Guide Mate Requirements:
- Pocket PC (such as the Compaq or HP iPAQ), Windows™ CE, or any laptop running Windows™ 98 or higher.
- 32MB memory for mobile device.
- 5 Hz (recommended) or higher GPS receiver.
- Requires Site Mate-Basic for viewing coverage maps. Site Mate-Basic can easily be upgraded to Site Mate-Scouting or Site Mate-Variable Rate Application (VRA) in the future.
