The Guide Mate software provides an affordable guidance solution for growers.

Guide Mate requires a 5Hz GPS receiver or better and will install on popular mobile computers such as Pocket PCs, Windows® CE handhelds, tablet computers, or laptops running Windows 2000 and higher (including XP, Vista, and 7).

The Guide Mate software is your answer to reducing overlap and eliminating skips in a field. The "3D Highway" display reduces driver fatigue and allows you to concentrate on other important jobs in the cab. A unique feature of Guide Mate is the integration with Site Mate and Trac Mate. These other field solutions provide additional functionality such viewing coverage maps, marking flags, and entering field records. No other guidance software on the market offers this type of flexibility and integration.

Requirements:

5Hz or better GPS receiver
Mobile computer (such as the Trimble® Nomad™) installed with Microsoft® Windows® Mobile, Windows CE, or laptop running Windows 2000 or higher (including XP, Vista, and 7)
32MB RAM
Site Mate Basic software

Guide Mate - Basic Features:

Provides an easy-to-follow, on screen lightbar and steering needle.
Guidance patterns include Straight A-B and Last Pass.
Saves guidance patterns for future navigation on the same field.
Fully integrated with Site Mate (required) so users can quickly move between the lightbar display and a coverage map generated with Site Mate.
Coverage map exported in industry standard ArcView Shape File.
Can be used in conjunction with approved external lightbars for additional guidance assistance.
Only software guidance package on the market to offer farmers an alternative to proprietary hardware solutions.
