| The
following is a list of the changes that have been made
to Farm Trac, Fund$, Site and Site Pro in version 6.7:
All Programs:
- Updated Tutorial with new questions and answers
in all areas.
- The Map print
box now includes a margin button where you can specify
the margins to be used at the top, bottom, right,
and left.
- Improvement in the speed of printing reports such
as the Notations and Chemical reports for projects
with a large number of fields and records.
- Payroll includes
a "New Hire Report" that
shows employees hired during a period of time (usually
quarterly).
This prints in a government approved format.
- Enterprise Statement now breaks other income separately
from other expenses so you can see true cost per
acre.
- Payroll checks
print in alphabetical order.
- Boxes where you can select field enterprises now
list 00 enterprises first (then 99, 98, etc...).
- The Names and
Addresses box allows you to delete names even if
they have been used. Note that this will not
delete the names from the checks, etc... that they
were used with.
- Payroll includes
Michigan Unemployment Tax report that can
be printed directly onto the forms and sent to the
state.
- The Enter Pay
box allows you to enter the number of hours for
each type of pay. These hours are used to
compute the Total Allocation hours.
- W-2s can be printed to magnetic media. This is
currently only available for people in Michigan.
- For Piece Rate
on check stubs, the program always tries to fit
as many types of pay being used on the current paycheck.
- Pay rates print
on check stubs (for hours and piece rates).
- Total Hours
Worked prints on check stubs (even for piece rates).
- Program updates
for 2000 federal withholdings (this update is available
on the website also).
- Support for
1999 W-2s. Note that the program supports
both tractor and sheet fed W-2s this year.
- Canadian Payroll
Tax Rates can now be changed by the users.
- Canada Payroll
- Employees EI (Employer Insurance) and CPP (Canadian
Pension Plan) exempt status is broken out.
- The Social
Security & Federal Withholding report now handles
commodity wages by excluding them from Social Security
and Medicare wages.
- W-2s now also
handle commodity wages by subtracting them out of
FICA & Medicare wages.
- New W-2 interface that works better for entering
Misc information.
- W-2s can now print a 20 digit state ID number
(this helps people in Kansas).
- W-2s, when change employer or employee name, address
or SS#, you will be asked if you want the employee's
files update.
- Improvement in the speed of printing reports such
as the Depreciation, Enterprise, Income Statement
and other reports for projects with a large amount
of records.
- The Purchase and Sales Report now includes a "Show
Allocation Details" option
that can be turned on and off. When the option is
turned off, the report will not show every enterprise
that an expense or income amount is allocated to.
- The names and addresses list may be printed on
mailing labels. You need to use the Avery labels
that are 30 to a page.
- Labels may
be displayed for point data.
- The Map print
box now includes a margin button where you can specify
the margins to be used at the top, bottom, right,
and left.
- Labels for
points include latitude and longitude.
- Ag Leader PF3000
Boundary (.bdy) files can be imported into
the program.
- ***Note***
Importing and Exporting PF3000 Points (.pfn) files
will be added in the next release (in January).
