Version 6.7 Update Features
The following is a list of the changes that have been made to Farm Trac, Fund$, Site and Site Pro in version 6.7:

All Programs:

  • Updated Tutorial with new questions and answers in all areas.

Farm Trac:

  • The Map print box now includes a margin button where you can specify the margins to be used at the top, bottom, right, and left.
  • Improvement in the speed of printing reports such as the Notations and Chemical reports for projects with a large number of fields and records.

Farm Fund$:

  • Payroll includes a "New Hire Report" that shows employees hired during a period of time (usually quarterly).
This prints in a government approved format.
  • Enterprise Statement now breaks other income separately from other expenses so you can see true cost per acre.
  • Payroll checks print in alphabetical order.
  • Boxes where you can select field enterprises now list 00 enterprises first (then 99, 98, etc...).
  • The Names and Addresses box allows you to delete names even if they have been used.  Note that this will not delete the names from the checks, etc... that they were used with.
  • Payroll includes Michigan Unemployment Tax report that can be printed directly onto the forms and sent to the state.
  • The Enter Pay box allows you to enter the number of hours for each type of pay.  These hours are used to compute the Total Allocation hours.
  • W-2s can be printed to magnetic media. This is currently only available for people in Michigan.
  • For Piece Rate on check stubs, the program always tries to fit as many types of pay being used on the current paycheck.
  • Pay rates print on check stubs (for hours and piece rates).
  • Total Hours Worked prints on check stubs (even for piece rates).
  • Program updates for 2000 federal withholdings (this update is available on the website also).
  • Support for 1999 W-2s.  Note that the program supports both tractor and sheet fed W-2s this year.
  • Canadian Payroll Tax Rates can now be changed by the users.
  • Canada Payroll - Employees EI (Employer Insurance) and CPP (Canadian Pension Plan) exempt status is broken out.
  • The Social Security & Federal Withholding report now handles commodity wages by excluding them from Social Security and Medicare wages.
  • W-2s now also handle commodity wages by subtracting them out of FICA & Medicare wages.
  • New W-2 interface that works better for entering Misc information.
  • W-2s can now print a 20 digit state ID number (this helps people in Kansas).
  • W-2s, when change employer or employee name, address or SS#, you will be asked if you want the employee's files update.
  • Improvement in the speed of printing reports such as the Depreciation, Enterprise, Income Statement and other reports for projects with a large amount of records.
  • The Purchase and Sales Report now includes a "Show Allocation Details"   option that can be turned on and off. When the option is turned off, the report will not show every enterprise that an expense or income amount is allocated to.
  • The names and addresses list may be printed on mailing labels. You need to use the Avery labels that are 30 to a page.

Farm Site and Site Pro:

  • Labels may be displayed for point data.
  • The Map print box now includes a margin button where you can specify the margins to be used at the top, bottom, right, and left.
