Kent, Is this a Feature lines layer or a Completed Drainage Layer we are working with?by KathyCline - Office - Surface
I believe you will export the VRA Planned jobs as ArcView Shape files for use with the Topcon X20 - thus why the data driver only works for the Read Job Data process.by KathyCline - Office - Mapping
Mapping for Field Records would be appopriate for you post. Have you tried to import that flags as background layers in FW Office. They may need to be exported as ArcView Shape files from the Apex first. We should be able to read in the products applied from the GS2. I recommend you contact our Support Department a call at 800-282-4103 and a technician will have you upload the data for review.by KathyCline - Office - Mapping
Glad to hear you got it figured out. Thanks for letting us know.by KathyCline - Office - Mapping
I will get this information passed on.by KathyCline - Office - Mapping
We will need to check into this issue a little further and post back this next week. Sorry for the delay.by KathyCline - Office - Surface
No. The Windows Temp folder is used to hold temporary Print preview pages or reports etc. If a program, Farm Works or any others, is using the file it will not allow you remove anyway.by KathyCline - Field - Hardware
Are we using the Points or Areas when setting up the Make Sample Grid? If points, then once the Sample Grid points have been created - we can use the Edit Layer (green pencil) button and with the pointer tool Left click and hold on point one unit turning into a hand and drag the point to desired location. Repeat for each one that needs to be changed. Click Save and Close.by KathyCline - Office - Mapping
Gary, During the "Make Sampling Grid" process when ready to click in the corner of field for location where first sample will be taken, are you clicking in the exact border corner and then making sure the grid line that can be moved for alignment is matching the border line BEFORE you make that second left click to create the Sampling map?by KathyCline - Office - Mapping
From the CF app go to the Settings and select Send Feedback (you may need to scroll down to locate that option). State what the problem is and Submit. This sends an email to CF, which gives us extra information about the phone itself that will aid in getting this issue resolved for you.by KathyCline - Connected Farm
Thanks for this extra information, I am certain this will be a help to many others.by KathyCline - Office - Field Records
Having both SiteMate and FW Mobile installed on same handheld would not cause the issue you are having. When you go through the Sync process from FW Office project and clicking on the Resource list button - are you making sure you are selecting all the Inputs you want to send to handheld? That would be the only thing causing this issue - of getting the Farm/Fields but missing the Inputs such sa eby KathyCline - Miscellaneous Discussion
Gary, Hopefully Michal will see your post and respond back.by KathyCline - Office - Mapping
Scott's recommendation will be best then, disabling the warning messages and audible beeps. Then you do not need to worry about going into the GPS settings at all. Those other options should remain each time you go in and out of the program.by KathyCline - Field - GPS Mapping, Scouting, Soil Sampling & VRA
Dave, I sent you an email with my findings. I have all those other FODD installed on my computer and could not get the files to populate either.by KathyCline - Office - Mapping
At this point it would be best to call our Support Department a call at 800-282-4103 for further assisntance. There are too many variables that could be causing the issue and would be best to speak with a technician, so they can check all areas of what your steps are and what can be changed to correct the issue.by KathyCline - Office - Field Records
No - if you are not doing VRA application the coverage map will only be one color. If you are getting the write back from the controller you can try viewing the map in 3D to see what you get. But do not think in this setup you will.by KathyCline - Field - GPS Mapping, Scouting, Soil Sampling & VRA

What type of GPS receiver are you using and what type of computer is running Fw Mobile? How is GPS connected to computer you are running?by KathyCline - Field - GPS Mapping, Scouting, Soil Sampling & VRA
Mobile does not read the legend files from FW Office. It is designed to only create it's own legend colors. What contoller are you connecting Mobile to, for Split Planter VRA?by KathyCline - Field - GPS Mapping, Scouting, Soil Sampling & VRA
What some are doing is setting up the Planned VRA for the correct population rates. Print the Planned reports that may be taken to field for reference. Then go to the Jobs tab and view this VRA Planned Map. From the Map tab, click the Edit Layer (green pencil) button. Change the rates from Population to the needed KSDS rate. Save and Close. Then Write the data out. Sorry for this work around forby KathyCline - Field - GPS Mapping, Scouting, Soil Sampling & VRA
I would start with the ISO since I think that X30 needs the xml files. You may need to export the Planned VRA jobs as ArcView shape files as well. If that does not work - then please call our Support line 800-282-4103.by KathyCline - Field - GPS Mapping, Scouting, Soil Sampling & VRA
I recommend that you install the newest FW Office version 2013.06.551 from this website. if you need updated CD key numbers please call our Support line at 800-282-4103 to get that information. Here is the link to the download file. 2013.06.551 downloadby KathyCline - Office - Field Records
I need to know what version of FW Office you are using and the exact data driver version you are trying to install for Case. This information can be found by going to the Help - check for updates. Check the box to Show all Available components.by KathyCline - Office - Field Records

Thanks Mitch. I will pass the praise onto Development and Programming!by KathyCline - Office - Accounting
Laura, Not at this time. I will be happy to submit this request to development. For now right clicking on supply name and selecting properites to the chemical tab is the only option for viewing.by KathyCline - Office - Accounting
Those exclusion areas that were logged on the 750 should read into Farm Works as a Feature Area Layer. What layers do you see in the Tree View Listing (Red Barn Tab) besides the Guidance layer in Farm Works Office. You could try to import a background layer browsing to the drive reading the USB - Open the AgGPS folder, Data Folder then the Client/Farm/Field name folders. If there are no jobs left on the hand held - I would connect unit to main computer. Go into Windows Explore and locate drive reading the handheld and open. Delete the TMSMData folder off the handheld. From FW Office Synchronize Mobile again following all my previous steps. It is very possible we are not getting the the project to update - possibly have 2 projects with simialar names. This processby KathyCline - Miscellaneous Discussion
The hand held needs to be connected to the computer running FW Office. From Fw Office open desired project with all the field names-inputs etc, you wish to see on iPAQ, select the File Menu and Synchronize Mobile. Select CE Device and from the drop down arrow - select CE Main Memory. Check to Upload Field Boundaries. Click on the Resource List button.
