At the end of 2011, I had my 2011 yield maps imported and was able to work with them. At some point in the last month, all of the data associated with them disappeared. It still says there is a job there, but there is no map and no job properties. I uploaded a backup from preharvest. My planting maps are gone. My spring '11 VRT fertilizer maps are gone. Yes, I think that is how the procedure went. I guess I am not seeing how the scale tickets add up to the correct 2743 bushels and the farming operation screen still shows the 2945, which was in error and too high. I do not know which one of these numbers is now actually being used for the yield map?by ClaySEIA - Office - Field Records

I accidentally entered a duplicate scale ticket weight on one field and reconciled the weights before I caught the error, then went back to try to delete it. Now, it appears to be correct when I run a scale ticket report for that farm, but the overall bushels and yield per acre in the job properties box remains at the original higher number. Kathy, any contour view will not work. I even created some new ones to try. Doesn't matter if it is from a yield map, soil samples with pH, K, etc. If I use the exact same settings but change it to a grid view, then everything is fine.by ClaySEIA - Office - Mapping

Are we going to have any documentation on how to use the new prescription formulas for Pro? Since I have updated it doesn't give me the option to create an application plan when I click on a map view, only the "Delete View" is available.by ClaySEIA - Office - Mapping

The layer icon shows a checkmark, I assume meaning a completed job? The points are in the field boundary where they should be, the attributes they have are: Boom Status Elevation GPS Quality Pass Regionby ClaySEIA - Office - Mapping

Kathy, I have tried all that and sample ID simply no longer exists as an attribute on these layers. I have exported these to a supplier I work with that uses SMS software and she gets nothing out of them either. I don't even seem to have the option to edit layer and redo them. I have 2 farms that I made sample grids for and exported to my Sitemate, everything worked fine in the field. Now when we have the lab results back, my desktop software has no sample ID numbers for the point attributes. This has never happened to me before. If I bring the job back up in my field laptop, the points are still numbered just as they should be. Any ideas where this data could haveby ClaySEIA - Office - Mapping

For the first time this year we put a laptop with trac/sitemate in the grain cart tractor to track weights out of the field, hoping to do away with hand written notes and having to reenter them. After synchronizing I cannot find anything but zeros anywhere, and I cannot figure out how to reopen the jobs in tracmate to see what is there after they were closed out. Any ideas? I don't really understand why this happened, but even though I only had one printer installed it would not let me make it the default printer. After I uninstalled it and then reinstalled the drivers it works. I am still baffled as to why Farmworks would print certain things and not others, for awhile that was leading me away from thinking the problem was in the printer.by ClaySEIA - Office - Mapping

Version 2010.1.433, Windows XP, and when you hit print the printer clicks once and then does nothing. There is no error message or anything else that happens whatsoever. Excel, my web browser, everything else seem to print fine. Thanks.by ClaySEIA - Office - Mapping

I am having trouble printing text reports such as a yield monitor load report. I can export it as a pdf or excel file and print from that, and I have no trouble printing a yield map or anything else from Farmworks.by ClaySEIA - Office - Mapping

Ok that worked, I have my project now. What is the procedure going to be then to get new jobs from the Mate synced back to the desk computer? I just ordered a Toughbook to replace my old Ipaq that seems to be on the blink, and was wondering if the 2010 update will be available soon enough that I can just put that on the new setup and do everything at once. Would like to have it ready for soil sampling asap. In a thread on the Site group it appeared that they were being mailed to people on the USP back in September. Can you walk me through the procedure to get these reports? I have version 10.425 and I cannot get a report to print for yield monitor, seed varieties, chemical use, etc. I check the boxes for crop enterprise, field, etc. and it tells me "report not found". The data I'm looking for is there if I go to each individual job and click on job or layer properties, but I want summaries withby ClaySEIA - Office - Field Records

I have been playing with the normalization maps in the analysis module and it seems to be working really well. I can't find anything in the existing documentation, but do we have the ability yet to generate prescriptions from a combination of soil samples and yield data or will that be a future update? I'm having some issues with scale ticket reports. For instance have one field with 19 scale entries for a total of 5057 bushels, but when I run the scale ticket report it puts out 7 PAGES of entries, still totalling 5057 bushels. Seems as though each one is broken into like 13 different portions. Does any of this make sense? Thanksby ClaySEIA - Office - Field Records

Ok after a lot of digging I found them in a farm that had nothing but hay on it this year, have no idea how but I must have linked them with the wrong farm in the import wizard somehow. How is the analysis module coming along I am really excited about some of the stuff it looks like you are putting in there, just hope I can make enough time to play with it all!!by ClaySEIA - Office - Mapping

I have a handful of fields that will not show up in farmworks when I import yield maps. 90% or so are there just like they are supposed to be, and the maps for all of them work just fine if I import into Field Operation Viewer. I just emailed you the files in question. It will let me make a phosphorous map from these with exactly the same procedure no problems. Have no idea what could be different with the soil pH.by ClaySEIA - Office - Mapping

I have just brought in some grid sample data for a farm and when I try to make a contour map for my VRT lime it locks up the program every time. Everything worked just fine on the farm I did before this one today. Any ideas?by ClaySEIA - Office - Mapping

Sometimes in busy season oil changes, repairs, etc. don't seem to get entered in the computer before I forget them it seems... Would it be possible to generate a report worksheet from my machine properties that already have model, serial number, etc. to keep in a notebook in the shop and then catch up Farm Trac on a rainy day? I hope I can make sense of this for you, we are taking a farm out of CRP and the terra server image I downloaded through farmsite shows the boundaries I need to flag off far better than the maps I have from FSA.
