Is there a way to import straight AB lines lines from farmworks created by a Trimble FMx to a Greenstar 2630?by zaphod - Office - Mapping
Yo.....First of all a big thank you for getting the agdata driver issue worked out. After downloading the new version of FW with the drivers all is well !!!!!! I have plot work in some individual fields I would like to pull out. Specifically is there a way of highlighting areas from the original data yield map and getting the yield for that area? I've have a number of 48 row replicated striby zaphod - Office - Mapping
The xxx.agdata driver files for harvest data is on my Christmas list. I believe if Santa checks his list my nice is slightly better than my naughty. ;) Seriously how is it going? What is the hold up. I looked at my data by downloading it onto a neighbor's SMS program. That took some of the pain away from not being able to view the data on Farmworks. The operative word is SOME.by zaphod - Office - Mapping
My custom combine operator have given me my yield data. In the form of agdata files. When can I expect the drivers to import and map the data. I am anxious to look at data to help with seed varieties purchases soon.by zaphod - Office - Mapping
Hi, I have have sample points imported to farmworks (most recent version). My soil test lab has sent me the results in snaplus format. Looks like Excel files to me. How do I import them to FW. Thanksby zaphod - Office - Mapping
Jeff Thank you for the quick response. A UPS service plan is in the works.by zaphod - Office - Mapping
When I import data from Precision Planting Seed Sense 20/20 date I am missing the doubles/skips/actual population data. Currently I am running version 2011.04.477. Do I need to update my software to get the further data download? Also the seed sense is time stamping the date as the date I import rather than when planted. Am I missing something here? BTW my compliments on how quickly this boby zaphod - Office - Mapping
Hello---A central Wisconsin farmer here. My local coop set up a soil test grid system on their software, sampled same and generated prescriptions. I would like to insert all the later data into farmworks. They assure me they have all the necessary files. What questions do I need to ask after I receive the files from them. I assume software/instrumentation to get formats. Is there a good tutoriby zaphod - Office - Mapping
I am setting up site for the first time. I have (after importing FMX ab lines etc) some unassigned crops attributed to fields which I would like to get rid off. I would prefer to delete them rather than retire them as they were generated when learning to use the FMX. ie they are of no value historically. Since I'm early on isn the set up stage deleting and re entering the field is an option.by zaphod - Office - Mapping
cewwrisley.....thanks for the info . Iwill check out dropbox!!!!! another work around I'm thinking off to purchase a portable USB hard drive. I would backup the project to the portable and restore from the same. A bit of a hassle tranfeerring the portable from computer to computer but it would assure FW would be worked on in a lineal fashion. The work around would be I need to be able to tell theby zaphod - Miscellaneous Discussion
Just to clarify, you are more than welcome to use our discussion groups to exchange information related to precision agriculture hardware. However, the groups are monitored only by Farm Works Software staff and as such we can only provide input on the software and hardware that we offer and support (on the hardware side this would include the Juno, Nomad and Yuma). Actually asking this questioby zaphod - Field - Hardware
I was going to start a very similar post. We have 3 FMX units. I have also had transient issues with 2 way FM, Also one unit seems to block commercial radio on the FM band. Kind of a bother as with autosteer the radio entertainment is welcome. Have tried moving position of FMX radio antenna but no help. I will try swapping FMX antenna to see if I can swap the problem.by zaphod - Field - Hardware
Thank you. Soil tests results will be a snap!!!! The Soil Types Legend I've taken care of. Just recorded my soil type codes and changed as I went to each field. The reason: In the Central Sands irrigated area of Wisconsin we have some prodominate soil types which either indicate uniformly easily managed land or land that primarly has drainage issues. By coding uniform colors I can look at aby zaphod - Office - Mapping
Each computer is a "stand alone". As it stands the default to to treat one as a Crop Records record keeper/report generator and one computer as a Mapper function. I guess data could be distributed to each computer on the need basis. Any other solutions????by zaphod - Miscellaneous Discussion
Yo I am a new proud owner of site. I am currently setting up Soil Type maps for our individual fields. When I choose individual fields to color code for individual Soil Types the Site programs assigns colors without regards to the color pattern I chose for the prevoius field. Since I've got 50+ fileds to work with how can I make Site act in a more considerate manner? The same thought patteby zaphod - Office - Mapping
Hello to all This is my first post on this forum. We have recorded this year's crop records using Trac on our main office desktop (we are not networked). We are also using 3 Trimble FMXs for autosteer. This winter I have added Site to compliment our data analysis. Since the maiin DT (desk top) is used for multiple purposes I would like to be able to enter the crop records and possibly site datby zaphod - Miscellaneous Discussion
