Thank you. It is obvious that it is an attribute that is already there. It is easy to look at the heading in the monitor on any guidance line that you have saved in the 700 monitor so I would think it should be easy to bring in that attribute into FarmWorks. All that is there is Date, Guideance Type, Name,Time, Width. This is from a Case 700 monitor. In the Monitor you can look under info and it gives you the heading of each Guidance Line. I thought this information would come into Farmworks? I want to be able to tell someone that doesn't have my field bounderys in it what a particular heading is on an edge of a field. I found I can print off a map with my guidance lines and names of the guidance lines but can I print or at least find out what the Headings are on each of the different lines. I would like to know the Heading of Each Of The Lines. Thanks, Scottby sfoth - Office - Mapping

Just did my first prescription for this spring. I understood that to island polygon problem was fixed. It still doesn't work for me. Rates don't change when my seeder goes through an Island Polygon. Could you tell me the best way to keep track of grain contracts in this situation? I have several entities but I want to keep track of all contracts on my main project. Also how would I enter a delayed price contract? No prices have been set but bushels have been hauled to the elevator and a contract has been signed. mapping section control on sprayer - 4 months ago
I need to show that my 4420 sprayer with a pro 600 monitor has section control. I need to print out a map showing this as proof to NRCS that I am using section control as reqired for the CSP program that I am entered in. I was finally able to do this in this in the SMS software. Ver. 2012.04.521. This problem happened atleast a year ago. I think it was after an install of an newer version. I have talked to Lorra Martins about it. She thought I would need to send a copy of project to you. The problem is with the older crops that have been sold. Acts like it didn't offset the crop inventory that was there??? Harvest Scale Ticket Records - 10 months ago
I looked at Farmworks years ago to keep harvest records. I didn't think it would work very good to keep detailed scale ticket reports and destination reports. I am looking agaiin and it doesn't look to be much better then it was unless I dont know what to look for. I see the scale ticket report does not take calculate FM off of the net weight? I see a post back in 2009 that explains the same problem I am having in 2012. This problem needs to be FIXED please. Here is the post: Well, the island polygons will currently not function when writing a prescription from Farm Works to a Pro 600. Initial setup problem entering harvested crop inventory - 2 years ago
After copying everything from my old project to a new one except the chart of accounts I am having trouble entering my current harvested crop inventory into the intial setup. I go to enter the stored crop, pick the 2010 year, then pick commodity, then pick account and the click on record, this is the message I get "This year - commodity pair already exists". No gps signal on IPac - 3 years ago
I had everything working fine on my Ipac. Not sure what happened but I cant get it to receive a gps signal now. I have tried to put the programs back in the Ipac because the battery did go dead once. I am on the same com port that I was before (6). Not sure what to do. The light on the side of the compact flash lights but it doesn't flash like it did when it was working right. I haven't been able to export a terra server image to site mate. I would like to have a satalite image on my ipac when moving around in a field.... If I have zones created and I drive through a field looking to see if the zones make sense according to the lay of the land then notice that a border should be moved, what is the best way to accomplish this? It seems that it would be best to have the Site program running while driving and just pull the borders where they should be according to where the GPA shows you are at but if I am just usiby sfoth - Field - GPS Mapping, Scouting, Soil Sampling & VRA
Writing to Case 600 card - 3 years ago
I am trying to write job data to my card to go in a Case 600 monitor. I have done this before and found out that I was trying to do too many fields at once. That doesn't seem to be working now. I start the process and it get to about 67% then it locks up and shuts the program down. I have the newest version and am using the Case voyager 2 choice. (the only one that is there). If I right click on a field. Then select import background. I then pick soil types. I get the soil map of the field fine but it doesn't show up in the tree below that field. Problem is if I remove it from the layer screen then it is gone and I dont know how to look at again without importing it again. Also when I create an application map I beleive it should show up in the tree under the fiby sfoth - Office - Mapping

I have combined some feilds to make a new feild. After making a new feild I retired the old feilds but they still show up on an acerage report and also on the map window in the lower right in the 2010 crops. Too many acres in the corn , fowers ect. I double click on corn for instance and do a planned job on all these feilds and that is were I see the retired feilds.by sfoth - Office - Field Records

I also am having the same problem although I did not have a problem reading data from the card I did have the same problem trying to read data from my hard drive that II saved from the card earlier in the harvest. The data went into AFS software fine and I was able to export a shape file out of AFS to a folder then imort it into Farmworks to get a yeild map. I have 4 cards that I saved to my deby sfoth - Office - Field Records
Ending Cash Position - 3 years ago
I am getting conflicting answers to the same question. When I do a "cash flow summary report" at the end of the report it gives the Begining cash position and the ending cash position. What I am having the problem with is the ending cash positon. The number it gives me here is different then a current balance sheet position at the end of the year. Hi, It is another year later and still having the same problem. I have landlords that I am trying to get a report for from Planned Jobs. I have farmed on Seed in Planned Farming Operations, now I am ready to prepay seed and show the landlord what is planned to be used and the cost so landlord can pay their share. Can't get a report for the landlord. This worked like it is suppose to years aby sfoth - Office - Accounting
