Meters/second
- XTE:

- Volume: ? ml/sq meter? (common values are 4000 to 75000 in soybeans)
I don't have an answer as we don't use this in our software....we use the Taskdata/ISOXML for yield
- Grain_Flow: ? ml/sec? kg/ha or g/sq m? (common values are 200 - 900 in soybeans)

- AppldRate: ? (common values are .300 - .500 some are as high as 5)
This is based on the AppType
0 - Seed - Kilo-seeds/hectare
1 - Liquid - Liters/Hectare
2 - Granular Seed - Kilograms/Hectare
3 - Granular Fertilizer - Kilograms/Hectare
4 - Anhydrous - Kilograms N/hectare

I don't think there's anything in the .dbf to give you area. Each of the values is tied to a polygon in the .shp file and the area comes from that polygon.
Taskdata.XML is ISOXML data for yield. That's actually the values that we use for making yield maps and it likely will not be the same as the coverage.dbf.
