Thanks for this insight.

I have been wondering whether there is a workaround for the farm/field numbers in the mean time.

Suppose I deleted every job created so far, and then created dummy treatment jobs for EVERY field in the right order (ie each field in farm 1 from no 1 to 11 in ascending order and then farm 2 etc) do you think that would initialise Farm Works so that as and when new jobs are created they have the expected farm/field numbers?

Oh I tried again importing an RDS "as applied" fertilizer file using the Loup/RDS harvest setting and it did crash Farm Works. But I tried doing the same thing with FOViewer and that crashed too. So not a Farm Works issue - I guess the FODD was only intended to digest yield files and understandably doesn't cope when you feed it other stuff. These text files use "@" as a delimiter but Farm Works text import doesn't give you that choice, but Excel does so I'll try importing into Excel and exporting as a .csv which should be more Farm Works compatible.
