Should these steps from an October 20, 2011, post still work?
1.Display the Yield data map for this same field with the new Variety map as top layer.
2.Select the Layers Tab beneath the mapping screen.
3.Open the attribute called Dry Yield and highlight Base Data.
4.Click on the New View button.
5.Select Area for the Output.
6.From the Area Options click on the Browse button on right. Open the correct Client/Farm/Field and highlight the new Variety map created previously. Click OK.
7.Check the box to Create new compose Layer. Click OK.
This will display a new area layer whcih will display a new map by variety. When you highlight the Attribute called Dry Yield raw on in the View box you will have the average yield by Variety.

When I get to Step 6, the correct Client/Farm/Field pops up, but the only map there is my soil type map, not my variety map, even though I do have a variety map.

Thanks!
