No there is not a Merge Field Option, however, you can do this function manually. Here are the steps to follow:

1. Go to the Tree View Listing (Red Barn Tab)
2. Open the client and locate the Farm Name where the fields you wish to merge is location. Right click on the farm name and select new Field. Type a desired description for the combination of both fields. Enter the correct tillable acres and click OK.
3. Highlight the Farm Name - then go to the Map Tab. Make sure you are viewing the Boundary Layer.
4. Hold down the Ctrl key and left click on the 2 field boundaries that will become one new field. Right click and select Copy.
5. From the Tree View listing, right click on the new field created from step 2 and select Edit Boundaries.
6. Go to the Map-Editing tab. Right click on the mapping screen and select Paste Addition.
7. Click Save and Close.

The 2 original single field names can be retired, but history data will remain saved for future viewing if need be.

Thanks,

Kathy Cline,
