Yield map question

This is the first time for me using yield maps. I downloaded all of my corn and bean data from my Insight yield monitor today. Everything looks great with the bean maps. The corn maps are a different story. Instead of a nice, consistent colors following the combine, I have equally spaced gaps of open space and color. The color squares are always the same size, but the open space is sometimes larger. When I was harvesting I didn't have this on the Insight screen. All of the maps on the Insight were nice and continuous. Do I have something set incorrectly? Only things that are different on the combine are that I run a 30 ft head for beans and a 6-row head for corn. I harvest at up to 8 mph in corn, usually run 6.5-7.5 and I run 4.5 to 6 in beans. Could my ground speed do it? I don't think its that as I went back and looked at a few spots I was going slower and I still have the gaps on the map? Is it a big deal to have gaps? Can I contour everything together someway?

Thanks,
Scott Myers
