That really depends on what kind of raster data you're working with. If you're working with a raster base map, such as a DRG or some other form of digital image in a recognized image format, the answer is yes, but you'll have to use the calibrate program to register it to the correct place on Earth. We currently don't recognize ArcView World Files, DOQQ Headers, or GeoTIFF Headers, but we do want to automate the calibration process for files that have that information available.
If your raster data is in the form of a Digital Elevation Model or in some other nonstandard form, or if you need direct access to the exact values at each pixel, then the answer is no, those formats are not supported. We hope to eventually add support for DEMs as point data, but the relatively low spatial resolution of the freely available DEMs hasn't made this a worthwhile endeavor.
