You have three options: 1. If you are going to use your Ag Leader to map the boundaries, it would be best to delete the field and then import the data (field boundaries) as lines onto your Main Farming Layer. You could then redefine the fields. When you do this be sure to select the field name from the drop-down list (don't type the name in). As long as the field has notations, chemical records or accounting information, the name won't be deleted. 2. Wait until you record a harvest with your ag leader and import the yield data. You can then use the auto-draw feature on the Quick Yields Tool bar to have your field boundaries drawn for you. This feature takes your yield data and automatically draws field boundaries around it. 3. One last option is to recalibrate your ASCS maps using the register points (three point) tool with your roads and waterways. This option will not be as accurate as either of the first two options.
If you decide to wait until you have yield data and use the Auto Draw feature, then you can still use the pointer tool to click and drag fields to their proper position. You can also use the Edit Points tool to click on a field and drag the corners of it to change it's size and/or shape. These won't be perfect, but can be used to make your fields line up better with your roads and waterways until you redraw them with your yield data.
