News Office Field Order Support Contact Us

The first thing to check is to be sure that the file that you recorded to is not blank. You can do this by going to Windows Explorer (in Windows 95) or File Manager (Windows 3.1) and find the files. The file size should be listed next to the file name, or in Explorer you can right-click on the file and select Properties to see the size. If the file size is zero then the file is blank. If you have version 5.1 or later, you can open this file in Notepad to see the actual data in it.

On versions of Mobile older than 5.1, blank data files could be created if a GPS receiver had an invalid position fix and was outputting invalid data.

If the file is not empty then the problem could be corruption in the file or another type of problem. If you e-mail me the file (to Scott@Farmworks.com), I'll be glad to take a look at it and see what the problem could be.

I hope this helps!
