Has any one tried using one of the new Windows 8 tablets with a Blue Tooth GPS antenna. They all seem to have only one UBS port. I was looking at the Garmin GLO but it said it was Android or iOS. It didn't say anything about Windows. Would there be certain specifications needed for a blue tooth antenna?
I have been using the same 2 iPAQs now for 8 years. One of them quit recognizing the SD card last year so now I am down to my spare. The iPAQs are not "rugged" and they sure have lasted. It would be nicer to have the bigger screen. I can not justify the cost of a Trimble hand held. The weight of a rugged PC/Tablet is a bit much the put on the handle bars of a 4 wheeler when traversing ruff ground .
