We use two GreenSeeker sensors on a high-clearance "buggy" to collect reflectance data from our large field-scale research trials around the state. We've been using a Nomad & a customized Farmworks Mobile software (RT Commander) to collect those data since we purchased the system several years ago from NTech. The Nomad is acting up and we believe it is time to upgrade to a new device and the Yuma 2 sounds attractive.

So........ the first question is do you know whether we can collect GS data with a Yuma 2?

If so......, then the second question is based on the fact that when we purchased the GS system from NTech, they (or Farmworks directly) worked with us to customize the data collection feature of the RT Commander software (a customized Farmworks Mobile) so that we could collect the individual wavelength data bands from each of the sensors and not simply the automatically calculated NDVI readings averaged over the two sensors. I'm not sure we have that original Farmworks installation CD any longer (plus the fact it is WindowsMobile and not Win7) and so the question would be whether Farmworks would be willing to work with us again to customize FW to collect these individual streams of wavelength data. If this is a question for one of the FW software developers, we would be willing to talk with them directly.
