Some of the devices with slower processors have problems keeping up on the display. Try going to the "Log" menu and make sure that "Auto Scroll" and "Auto Scroll and Zoom" are both turned off. Then zoom out on the map so you see the entire field. The problem with the display comes down to when you are zoomed in on the map and the display is constantly working to repaint the screen.

Also, try going to the "Configure" tab and select "Logging" then "Auto Logging" and check your "Recording Interval". If you increase this (depending on your speed you could probably go clear out to 5 to 10 seconds) which will cut down the # of positions to be displayed on the map.

Also, make sure that your GPS receiver is not outputting at a rate above 5hz. Again, some of the slower devices have problems keeping up with GPS receivers outputting at 10hz and more.
