Indirect field expenses

I hope you're not getting tired of me asking a bajillion questions but I'm finally setting up my software and making it functional. You've been a great help in that. Up until I was using the accounting program I would set up certain non operational expenses within the other category and allocate each expense to the appropriate field. I'm referring to cash rent, agronomy expenses, crop insurance and so forth. Since installing and using the accounting package those expenses are still listed as other equipment, but when I attempt to apply them to fields I'm unable to associate a given cost for any of these expenses. I can record them, but I just can not record them with an added expense.
