If you had supplies in your inventory, and just getting your first year books setup for 2016, click the Accounting Menu and select Initial Setup of Accounts. Then click OK you wish to go back into the Initial setup. Click the Setup Account Menu and select select Supplies Inventory. If you do not see the needed supply name for the Current Item box, select New. Type the desired description. Select the appropriate corresponding account from Drop Down. Enter the correct Qty amount owned. To the right box select the correct Purchase unit. Enter either the unit cost or total cost. Record and Done. This is where all supplies you owned before the start of 2016 would be entered.
