Thank you for such a quick response. I don't think I asked what I meant to ask very clearly. Yes, our 2014 books are closed. The adjustments my accountant gave me are as of the start of this acct year 2/1/2015 in order to correct my 2014 figures to the amended tax return.

Dr. A/C depreciation, Dr. Retained earnings,/// and Cr. Fixed Assets.

It was to remove many disposed of items from the books....most of which were completely depreciated out. There were nearly 90 assets removed that had been disposed of. Only about 10 of the assets still had some depreciation remaining on them on my books. The remaining balances of those assets were reclassified as expense items for 2014. These assets are then removed from the fixed assets also.

Their adjustment took all of these assets off my books as of 2/1/15. I think the real problem is to get these fixed assets and accumulated depreciation off my books.

I will just wait until the end of the 2015 tax year and then make the depreciation entries to my books that the accountant gives me.

As you can tell I am very confused as to how to get my books back on track with the accountant as of 2/1/15. Appreciate your patience and help. Thanks, Mary Paul
