You will need to check with bank to see if they will accept that old date. You should be able to open the Account Register. Find this check that has not been cashed. Change the check number to your next unused check number. Right click on the Employee name and select Print check. This will just give you a new check in replacement for the old one, but will not record into the GL account. You do not ever want to void a paycheck (even if that old accounting year is still open) that was recorded to a W-2 already, because I suspect that your Federal Tax Tables have been updated since when that original check was recorded. The above steps should get what you need.
