You can setup a new expense account called Lease Expense but can either allocate to te Field Crop Enterprises or Allocate to the Irrigation setup as a piece or equipment. When we use the Irrigation in a farming operation this expense will carry the lease expense under the Irrigation Equipment to the Field Crop Enterprise. When lease agreement has been fulfilled in the Future you can record the Equipment Purchase - the irrigation equipment we setup under the Inputs will be displayed already to select. The amount of purchase will be the balance you owe at this point - but not for the full amount that was paid for when posting to expenses - only for the balance still due.
