When you have one payable that has different inventory or expense accounts listed and then are making portion payments on payables, then a certain percentage will go to each account. Even though you are only paying the seed, the payable payment does not have a way to distinguish between so I takes a certain percent for each. The only way around this, is to setup two payables, one for the seed and one for the chemicals. Just as a side note, once the entire payable has been paid, all money will post to the Seed and chemicals, unless carrying over into another accounting year.
