I purchased soybean seed in May 2010 and entered it as a payable. After the 1st of the year, I made sales of soybeans and reduced my seed payable expense with each sale. When I look at the General Ledger Report for soybean sales and seed expense, the income amounts are correct, but all the seed expenses are reduced about 28% from what they should be. For example, 1 sale had income of $28,573.73 and seed expense of $3373.71. In the GL Report, the sale amount was correct, but the seed expense listed was $2412.29 instead of $3373.71. All my entries were that way, any idea why?

Thanks,
Pat
