Note that you can still manually adjust the Federal Withholding rates. You can also change the FICA rate to the new rate of 4.2%. This will insure that the correct amount of FICA gets withheld from each check. The only drawback is that the older versions of the software only allow one FICA rate to be entered (whereas the new IRS rates have a different rate for employer and employee amounts). So by doing this you will have correct FICA withholdings. However, the calculated amount that is owed for the employer's share will be wrong.
