I finished the snow removal for now. Mother Nature can remove the rest, she put it there!

After the "record at gross amount" didn't work, I was thinking there was something I was missing. I looked up the accrual-journal entry of the payable that I had just recorded and the total was $4061.87, so then I looked up the cash-journal entry and found my answer. I was expecting to see an entry of $4061.87 for seed, but seed was $3699.20 and chemical was $362.67, thus my 8.92864% amount difference. Then I remembered that I had the seed treated and the entry was broken down into seed and chemical. I checked the cash-general ledger report for seed and chemical and the numbers matched. So I was entering the information correctly and the program was working correctly, but I was expecting a different answer.

Maybe it is a good thing that males can't multi-task, I know that I would just goof up more that I already do!

Thanks for your time Kathy
