Your suggestion for being able to track bushels sold on contract (or booked) is a good one and is one that we'll certainly look into for a future update.

For the time being, here's something that might help you as far as planning for the next year goes....
1. In the Project Selection box click on your main project and copy it to a new project called "Planning".
2. Go into the Planning project and go under Accounting to Inventory Maintenance and go to Adjust Supplies. Adjust all supplies to zero quantity.
3. Again under the Inventory Maintenance menu go to Adjust Harvested Crops and adjust all to zero.
4. Finally record all of your expected farming actions for the next year. Or at least record all expected farming actions involving supplies and harvests. When recording the supply actions use the expected rate of application and when doing the harvest enter expected yields (or maybe use a minimum expected yield).

When you are finished you can go to the Inventory Maintenance menu and print a Supplies Report. This report will be all zeros and will be the expected quantity that you will use of each supply. This should help when prepaying supplies.
Next print a Harvested Crop Inventory report to see the expected total harvest for each crop.

You can make as many copies of these projects as you want. Maybe one copy just has harvest data with expected minimum yields and another has expected maximum yields and another has a true expected yield.

I hope that this helps!
