Scott,
I set up computer and software systems for local agribusiness people. I set up Farmworks for a client last year. They called me back at year-end to adjust some problems that they had created concerning expense allocations and chart of accounts setup.

I need to transfer/move amounts or allocations from one expense account(s) to another. I realize that the tampering with the General Ledger is not suppose to be done, but I must clean up their accounts for the books to operate properly. Is there any way to change or delete expense accounts once they have been posted to? I have tried Voiding the trans., and then deleting the account, but the GL notes the Void as a post and will not let me delete. Many exp. accounts that were set up are not needed now and need to be deleted, but the GL has Bal. Forward posted and thus I can't delete.
