Switching so All Animals have IDs

Search Discussion Boards
Randy,
My guess here is that you recorded the birth with the unassigned animals and you then recorded a death to the group. Try the following:

1. In Farm Stock, select "Show Unidentified Only" from the Query menu.
2. Go to the "Inventory" tab in the Stats area.
3. Select the group from the Animal ID drop-down list.
4. The Inventory Record will show all deaths and movements of the animals in the unassigned group. Delete any deaths that show up here.
5. If you see lines that say "Identified", then the problem is that you have identified only part of the animals in the group. To fix this, simply identify the rest of the animals in the group. If necessary these animals can be deleted with the "Loss" button.

I hope this helps!
