Dairy Goats, outside servicing and feed

Beau,
You are correct that Farm Stock currently will only keep milk records if the animal icon type is set to cattle/dairy. I'm afraid that this was an oversight on our part that we will fix in the next release. With regards to keeping bloodlines on animals that you don't own, you can set these animals up in the Setup tab and add the breeding information at the same time. Note that the only thing that you are required to enter for each animal is its ID and a birth date. Also, if you enter Death date for the animal, it won't show up with your current animals, however it can still be displayed when viewing Bloodlines.

With regards to keeping Feed Records, this feature is only available if you are using Farm Stock along with Farm Trac. We are currently working on the Farm Stock manual. A new manual will be available with the update this Fall.

I hope this helps!
