Dairy Goats, outside servicing and feed

I've been settling into Farm Stock and enjoying many of its capabilities. However, (as always) there's a few items I'm having trouble with. First: We raise and milk dairy goats. However, unless we choose dairy cows and change the description (which forces us to use cow icons) we can't choose to maintain milking statistics. Would like to see more "goat" support. Second: For our horses and goats, we often use contract servicing from various people who have studs (bucks) that contain bloodlines we desire. I don't own the animal, but I would like to show the cross in the mating records and be able to monitor my breeding lines. What method works such that I keep the records honest? Third: The manual talks about maintaining feed records for each group, but I can't find the tab it refers to. Is this a configuration problem on my part or simply a change that the manual is too outdated to know about?

Thanks for your time...
