Re: Getting feed rations to post to Farm STOCK

Elizabeth,
Farm Stock currently does include the ability to keep feed records on individual animals. It will then compute feed conversions. However, currently these records are only available in US measurements (not metrics). We hope to have a metrics version of Farm Stock available by October.

If you have a feedlot operation you may actually be more interested in Farm Trac and Fund$. Farm Stock is designed to keep detailed records on individual animals (such as mating, birth, weaning, health, and feed records). Farm Fund$ will allow you to keep track of weights, feed, and all costs on groups of animals. Farm Fund$ will keep track of feed costs and weights and will give you feed conversions, cost per pound gained, cost and profit per pound and head sold and other important cost information. However, all of this will be on a group basis, not for individual animals. Also, Farm Trac and Fund$ will currently work with both US and metric measurements.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
