Once the map of the Field is found on the boundary layer - creating a contour view should clip to boundary. Try right clicking on the field name and select New Crop Enterprise. Setup the current or next years crop. This should give you a shaded on using the Enterprise View. Then try completing a contour view of the test result data, to see if it clips then to the boundary. Can you also tell me what you have to open under the Tree view listing from the Red Barn tab to locate and display the Soil Test job/map.
