OK you are saving the files directly to the C:Drive or where? If using Automatic file naming then go to the Config Tab (wrench) Tap the Resource button and then Projects. What do you see in the Data folder location box.

No Mobile does not try to connect to Network places, but you can check back in config - Advance - AVL/Sync button. Is anything checked there? Is this the Sync option you are referring to?
