Hi kloberemt,

We can do exactly what you are trying to do.

An EM38 Mk2 can connected to a Yuma via Bluetooth.

Farm Works Mobile is running on the Yuma to log the data from both GPS and Em38 in a single file.

Using the 'sensor job' option you can log from the EM38. Position data can come from either the internal GPS or an external GPS connected through a serial port.

Key features of Farm Works Mobile that make EM mapping easy:
1. Automatically apply an offset to allow for the EM38 being behind the GPS antenna
2. Real time view of EM38 readings on screen
3. Real time colour map of EM data appears as you log
4. Data can be exported to SHP file for use in any GIS, or synchronised directly into Farm Works Mapping

I have a document that outlines the procedure for setting up Mobile here:
EM38 Mapping with Mobile

This is a little outdated, and includes screenshots from a Nomad not a Yuma, but the general procedure is the same.

I hope this helps.

Kind regards,

Martin.
