Hello Kathy:

I followed your steps exactly and logging with the IFB switch is still not working. Another thing I tried is to use the Yuma's internal GPS instead of the external Raven Phoenix 200 antennae. Having the IFB plugged into the Yuma via serial port on Comm 1. Same thing. Logging is not affected by the 12V toggle switch.

Just to check: the wrapped cable coming out of the IFB switch has a red and black wire. The red wire running through my toggle switch is hot coming straight from the ATV battery. The black wire from the IFB is going straight back to the negative terminal on my ATV battery. Does this sound right or should the black wire be grounded to the metal frame of the ATV?

I will be in the field mapping all day tomorrow so I will try to debug more.
