I have a 2011 Trimble GeoXT 3000 series with the latest version of Farm Works Mobile and I'm having trouble loading a detailed roads shape file. I've saved the shp (24,858K), shx (1,560K) and dbf (70,179K) files to the SD card and then tried to import these files as a layer. The GPS has 81 MB of RAM available while Farm Works is in use. I also checked the Task Manger to ensure there were no other programs running in the background. When the memory use for the shape file reached 26.1M Farm Works displayed an "out of memory" error and the GPS locked up. Is there a file size limitation for Farm Works or do the files need to be converted to another format?
