I'm Experimenting with this a little now. From what My Dealers Specialist in AMS equipment Tells me you need the JD Screen to Setup the Reciever (any of them) for the output Data. After you don't need the Screen. If You have the Cable in the Cab that has a DB 9 Plug you just Need to Plug in Your Laptop or whatever is running the FW Mate Programs into Com Port 1. I Belive the Wiring Pins that are Important on the DB 9 are "2" Transmitte (from Monitor), "3" Recieve (into Monitor). I havent tryed it yet myself but its suposed to Work. Still need to swing by a Computer Shop that can give me an Extention Wire that has the Right plugs and wires actually connected to those pins or a Plug that I can actually conect the Wires to (most of what I have found at home so far are Wires with Molded Plugs that have those pins not connected to a wire).

I'm doing this to conect my Seed Sens 20/20 Monitor to My RTK Greenstar Reciever instead of there Tiny Disk type GPS reciever, in order to Gather more accurate Path and Elevation Information (land Leveling).

I Don't Know How the Ipaq conects but I'm sure there is some kind of Interface box to Connect a DB9 Plug to.

Hope this Helps
