Kevin,
I'm betting you're using the "Generic Import - Shape File". As long as you have Version 2009 or higher, you should have an option for "Trimble EZ Guide 250 & 500". If you select this you should be able to browse and select the "AgGPS" folder and the program will then find all the mapfiles that are there.
