I have been using Site Mate with a remote implement switch from Premier Technologies to log variety locations with GPS during corn planting. I just wanted to report the the implement switch and Site Mate have perform well. I also want to make one suggestion for improvement. When logging points in an operation such as planting you need to be able to specify the "following distance" like you can in the VRT setup. I am using a 12 row pull type planter and the planter was 20 feet behind the GPS antenna location on the tractor. I noticed that when I pulled out on the ends at the head lands most of the time I would record a point out side of the field boundary. Being able to set a "following distance" would solve this problem. The addition of the remote implement switch greatly enhances the data logging capabilites of Site Mate.
