Rate controll with an Aero 1530

Search Discussion Boards
John,
I can’t speak from experience, as we’ve never done VRA with the 1530, however it should work. We’ve tested with the Philips Nino, which has a slower processor yet. The key is that if you have a map with a lot of details on it, the display can sometimes be slow and it may have a hard time keeping up with you. Maps with lots of detailed contours or a large number of small grids, will slow down the display with a slower processor. The key is the more lines in the map, the slower it will be. One other suggestion is that if by chance you have more than one field in the same Shape File, you may want to break them out. I recommend putting a single application map in each Shape File.
