What steps need to be done to data log in the field with Farm Site Mate? I wold hope a simple keystroke could toggle an attribute on or off as it could be very hard to operate a mouse pad on a handheld while traveling across a field.
Can the attributes be set up on the home computer and the field handheld?
Can more then one attribute be turned on at one time?
Is there an unlimited number of attributes that can be made up?
Can the attributes be deleted or hid from the select menu without affecting earlier recorded data from prior year or field?
I assume the attributes in the select list are the ones that show up on one Farm Site layer. If I have 100 differnt attributes set up ahead of time, can I only have say 8 shown in the selct list in a particular field? (ie.. I would not want to view population attributes in a select list while spraying and using burndown attributes. Since we can be spraying and planting in the same day, I would not want to take the time to be putting attributes in the computer at this busy time.)
When will Farm Site Mate be able to both do this data logging and variable rate application at the same time?
Sorry for the grocery list, but I don't have Farm Site Mate at this time and don't know for sure how it may work. I guess the reason for asking.
