I understand that this year you would have an issue like that. Since the fertilizer/chemicals costs have been so erratic. In these special circumstances in the future when entering your invoice from the Fertilizer Company, record the farming operation for that field. Then bill the landlord creating an invoice due in October, which will use the correct average cost. Repeat for each instance. When you print one receivable invoice for Landlord, it will display as an Invoice. When you are ready to send them a bill in October, you may have several invoices. When selecting them all it will print as a Statement. I realize that this may be after the fact and you have recorded all your invoices from Vendors and entered all the farming operations for this year. So with that said, when billing the landlord the costs will have to be manually changed to match the original invoice.
